EventLeo Terms & Conditions — Attendees (Ticket Buyers)

By purchasing a ticket through Event Leo, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payment & Ticket Confirmation

  • Tickets are only valid after successful payment via EventLeo.
  • You will receive a QR/code as proof of your ticket.

2. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are subject to the organizer's policy.
  • EventLeo and organizers may cancel or reschedule events; you will be notified if this happens.

3. Event Access & Conduct

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless specified.
  • Organizers may deny entry to anyone engaging in disruptive or unsafe behavior.

4. Personal Data & Communication

  • Your name, email, and phone number may be used to manage your ticket and send event updates.
  • By purchasing a ticket, you consent to receive notifications via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.

5. Media Consent

  • Event photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to their use.

6. Liability

  • EventLeo and event organizers are not liable for personal injury, loss, or theft during the event.

EventLeo Terms & Conditions — Event Organizers

By creating an event on Event Leo, you agree to the following terms:

1. Event Creation & Compliance

  • Organizers are responsible for all permits, safety, and legal compliance for their events.
  • EventLeo may remove events violating laws, regulations, or these terms.

2. Pricing, Service Fees & Payouts

  • Free events: KES 500 one-time listing fee per event (up to 500 attendees).
  • Standard (Most Popular): No upfront listing fee; 5% commission per ticket sold.
  • Premium: No upfront listing fee; 3% commission per ticket sold.
  • Any applicable payment processing fees (e.g., card/M-Pesa gateway charges) may also apply.
  • Organizer payouts are settled after successful ticket sales and/or after the event, minus applicable EventLeo commissions and payment processing fees.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds to attendees are managed per the organizer's refund policy.
  • EventLeo is not responsible for event cancellations or rescheduling beyond ticketing functions.

4. Data & Privacy

  • Organizers are responsible for handling attendee data in compliance with privacy laws.
  • EventLeo may use anonymized data for analytics and platform improvement.

5. Liability & Indemnity

  • EventLeo is not liable for attendee behavior, venue issues, or event execution.
  • Organizers agree to indemnify EventLeo against any claims arising from the event.

6. Termination & Suspension

  • EventLeo may suspend or terminate events that violate laws, regulations, or these terms.
